Vydar Vydawn was born to two parents he never knew, growing up in a ramshackle orphanage so small it barely warranted a name. Yes yes, a dreadfully boring and sad backstory. Still, stories like these do happen, don’t they?

Vydar was loud and wild, even as a young boy, and found the easiest way to get by was to take any attention he garnered and use it to his advantage. Not many Drow are born fair haired, and though he felt uncomfortable at first, he soon began to see this quirk of his as a way to direct peoples’ attention to himself. He grew out his hair, and began making a spectacle of himself – putting on little shows and hosting little parties for himself and the other children, where they would play adventurers, knights, bards, what have you. He enjoyed showmanship, and seeing others revel in the escape it brought them.

He aged out of the orphanage, sadly, and at the age of twenty set out on his own to try and make his way in the world. After months of traveling, he happened upon the Lily Tree Traveling Circus – an up and coming paradise of gold, glitter, and merriment. He attended a show one night, where he happened to meet Eric VanHein, owner operator and grand master of the Lily Tree.
